Learn the basics of fermentation and how to safely and efficiently ferment your own vegetables. In this class you will learn about how to lacto-ferment any vegetable you have grown into a pro-biotic rich pickle as well as sauerkraut.

This class is designed to be a empowering and immersive learning experience paired with expert guidance so you can comfortably and confidently begin working with beneficial microbes in your own home. You will leave with tips and techniques on how to culture the good bacteria, avoid the bad, and maintain the conditions required for a delicious and safe fermentation of vegetables. This is a must for any gardner who would like to know how to ferment your vegetable harvest.

You will sample different varieties of sauerkraut and pickles and get hands on making your own to take home.
