Forest Friends, Wild Herbs & Edibles Plant Walk – July 26

Forest Friends, Wild Herbs & Edibles Plant Walk

with Kilian O’Donoghue

Wednesday July 26, 2017

6:00pm – 8:30pm

Join plant scientist and wild forager Kilian O’Donoghue on a guided walk through Edworthy park to learn about some of the common plant species and their uses! We will explore the biology and ecology of plants and the landscape of Bow River valley, uncover tips for identifying useful plants, and learn about sustainable harvesting practices. We’ll be going ahead rain or shine, so dress for the weather! You may also want to bring a pencil and notebook for recording what you learn and a snack if you feel you might need it.

Once you are registered you will receive an email the week before the class for instructions on where to meet in Edworthy park.
