with Blaine Andrusek
Saturday July 15, 2017
09:00am – 05:00pm
Western Canada’s wilderness, and even your own backyard, offer hundreds of species of plants with edible and medicinal uses.
Join us for a fun and colourful introduction with Blaine Andrusek, Master Herbalist, who’s been providing such guided walks in our area for now close to 40 years!
References to traditional European, First Nation and Chinese values will be explored, with lots of personal history, case studies and recipe ideas!
Blaine is a joy to learn from due to his vast knowledge, engaging story-telling and witty-personality.
It is a rare treat to be able to host Blaine and offer you the opportunoty to learn about local wild edibles and herbs from him.
This class will fill and we encourage you to register early to ensure a spot as we do limit the number of participants for maximum learning!
