Our Incan spirulina is sourced high in the Andes mountains, where it is grown on a pristine farm that uses only glacier-fed spring water for growing this blue-green, fresh-water algae. Spirulina is an ancient multi-cell organism that has existed for 3.5 million years and is named for its spiral shape. It was given to Incan and Aztec warriors for endurance and strength. Light Cellar had the opportunity to tour this facility in Ecuador and see first hand the growers meticulous growing area near the Cotapaxi volcano.

Instructions:

Add 1 tsp-1 Tbsp to smoothies, elixirs, salad dressings or desserts. Fun for use a natural food dye.
