Nettle Leaf: Raw Organic - The Light Cellar
Stinging nettle has been used for centuries as a source of food, fibre and medicine. This tasty, nutrition-rich herb is often used as a replacement for spinach, but is most commonly enjoyed as a tea. The tea also makes a healthy hair rinse for controlling dandruff and adding shine.
Infuse 1/4 cup per 1L water for tea or add dried leaves to soups or casseroles. Grind the dried leaf for use in smoothies. Or make a tea and store as ice-cubes for adding to smoothies or other cold drinks.
